Registered Sheridan county. Born, Spencer, Nebr., Feb. 27, 1895, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - carpenter. Inducted at McClusky on May 25, 1918. Sent to Camp Lewis, Wash. Served in 15th Company, 4th Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 17, 1918; Company C, 158th Infantry, to Sept. 16, 1918; Company D, 110th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 11, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sector: Clermont (Lorraine).
