Three Fargo VA Veterans earned top national placements at the 2025 National Veterans Creative Arts Competition, which featured over 7,000 entries from 4,500 Veterans nationwide.

Veterans will brave 48 hours in the cold at West Acres Mall to raise awareness and support for Fisher House North Dakota—a future “home away from home” for military and veteran families receiving care at the Fargo VA. Join the community for the opening ceremony, warm refreshments, and opportunities to support the mission.

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced today that U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Irvin C. Ellingson, 25, of Dahlen, North Dakota, killed during World War II, was accounted for on June 17, 2025.

The North Dakota Reserve Officers Association will host its Annual Christmas Party on Dec. 9, 2025 at the Fargo Holiday Inn, featuring dinner, entertainment by the Moorhead High School Carolers, and festive fellowship. RSVP by Dec. 5 to Col. Gary Olson.
