Albert Emil Schulz was born on November 9, 1919, in Elgin, Grant County, North Dakota to Solomon Schulz and Lydia Schimke Schulz. He registered for the United States Army on July 1, 1941, in Arthur, Cass County, North Dakota.  Private First Class Schulz was killed on February 9, 1945, in Luzon, Davao Oriental, Philippines and is buried at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Capital District, National Capital Region, Philippines, Plot L, Row 12, Grave 77.
