SSgt Farr was a crew member on B-29, #42-94002, commanded by Capt. Cruger G Edgerton AC which was lost on a bombing raid over Tokyo, Japan on May 23, 1945. The plane was presumed lost over the target due to unknown circumstances. 11 crew and 1 passenger were killed.
