Biography:

Alvin Emil Anderson was born in Granville, McHenry County, North Dakota on September 8, 1911, to Ole Andreas and Regina Anderson. He entered the United States Army in Minot, North Dakota on April 1, 1941, and served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. Technician Fifth Grade Anderson was killed in action on May 14, 1945, in France and is buried in Grave 14054, Block 24, Section C, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
