Biography:
Registered Bowman county. Born, Chimney Rock, Wis., April 4, 1896, of Swedish parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bowman on July 26, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 2nd Company, 1st Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 17, 1918; Company D, 40th Infantry, to death.
