Registered Eddy county. Born, Johnson, Minn., April 8, 1890, of French-German parents. Occupation - railway brakeman. Inducted at New Rockford on March 1, 1918. Sent to Camp Greene, N. C. Served in Company G, 58th Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, June 8, 1918. Overseas from May 7, 1918, to death. Engagement: Offensive: Aisne-Marne.
