Registered McHenry county. Born, Norway, Sept. 6, 1891. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Towner on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery C, 338th Field Artillery, to Nov. 30, 1918; Battery E, 335th Field Artillery, to death.
