Circumstances:

On the night of Dec 28, 1968, after a card game, Deane and three other friends, Snowden, Ambroziak and Morris decided to visit a bar in Padova, Italy. On the way back their vehicle struck a tree and all were killed. 

Biography:

He is buried in Memorial Park South - Grand Forks, ND.
