Biography:

Donald Wendall Adams was born in Wahpeton, Richland County, North Dakota on August 8, 1925, to Clide White Adams and Esther Ruth Luella Brosowske. He entered the United States Naval Reserve in North Dakota. Electrician's Mate Third Class Adams was killed in action in Okinawa, Japan, on May 25, 1945, and is buried in Courts of the Missing, United States Navy, World War II, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii. He received the Purple Heart award.
