Biography:

Donald Scott Peacock was born in Fennimore, Grant County, Wisconsin on January 24, 1907, to John Joseph and Clara Mae Scott Peacock later becoming a resident of Cass County, North Dakota. He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on April 26, 1942, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Technician Fifth Grade Peacock was killed in action in the Battle for the Recapture of Bataan on February 7, 1945, in Luzon, Philippines and is buried in Grave 14210, Block 25, Section C, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
