Biography:
Registered Williams county. Born, Atwater, Minn., Oct. 19, 1893, of Swedish parents. Occupation - jeweler. Inducted at Williston on March 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company I, 3rd Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 20, 1918; Company B, 137th Infantry, to death. Overseas from May 3, 1918, to death. Engagement: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne.
