Registered Burke county. Born, Sindal, Denmark, Feb. 15, 1888. Citizenship, alien. Occupation - farmer. Enlisted at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., on Nov. 15, 1917. Served in Company D, 7th Regiment, Engineers, to death. Overseas from March 16, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: St. Die and Villers-en-Haye (Lorraine); Anould (Alsace).
