Registered Ramsey county. Born, De Groat, N. Dak., Dec. 11, 1889, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Devils Lake on June 15, 1918. Served in Company A, 137th Machine Gun Battalion, to death. Grade: Corporal, Sept. 12, 1918. Overseas from Oct. 6, 1918, to death.
