Registered Logan county. Born, Eureka, S. Dak., April 6, 1894, of Russian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Napoleon on May 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Lewis, Wash. Served in 15th Company, 4th Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 17, 1918; Company D, 158th Infantry, to Sept. 9, 1918; Company B, 128th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 11, 1918, to death. Engagement: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne.
