Registered Richland county. Born, Fredonia, Wis., July 13, 1890, to parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lugert (nationality of parents not given) Mantador ND. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Wahpeton on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 11th Company, 3rd Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 10, 1918; Company L, 77th Infantry, to death.
