Registered McHenry county. Born, Towner, N. Dak., June 18, 1895, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Towner on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery B, 338th Field Artillery, to death.
