Biography:

Henry Dominic Dorner was born on August 10, 1925, in New England, Hettinger County, North Dakota to Mathias (Matt) and Magdalena Lenhardt Dorner. Private First Class Dorner trained in Camp Hood, Texas and Fort Ord, Washington and served in the Philippine Islands Theatre. He was killed in action and is buried at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Plot A, Row 15, Grave 27, Manilla, Capital District, National Capital Region, Fort William McKinley, Philippines.
