Served at Naval Training Station, Newport, R. I., to July 3, 1917; Receiving Ship, Philadelphia, Pa., to Sept. 8, 1917; USS Von Steuben, to March 28, 1918; Naval Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa., to death. Grades: Landsman Yeoman, 55 days; Yeoman 3rd Class, 213 days; Yeoman 2nd Class, 59 days.
