Registered Bottineau county. Born, Maurertown, Va., June 14, 1891, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bottineau on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 11th Company, 3rd Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 20, 1918, Battery A, 40th Field Artillery, to death. Grade: Corporal, Oct. 7, 1918.
