Biography:

Kenneth Duane Nelson was born in Parshall, Montrail County, North Dakota on October 24, 1925, to Edwin William Nelson and Marguerite Elizabeth Colclough. He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 13, 1944, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Technician Fifth Grade Nelson died in service on July 20, 1946, and is in Block 16, Lot 59, Parshall Community Cemetery, Parshall, North Dakota.
