Circumstances:
Died while in MIA status aboard the Superfortress "Wattys Wagon". While returning from a mission to Musashino Aircraft Factory near Tokyo, the ship came under attack by enemy fighters. The bomber was severely damaged, and ditched in the Pacific off the coast of Japan. All crew aboard were killed.
