Registered Wells county. Born, Stockholm, Sweden, Nov. 25, 1889. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Fessenden on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 33rd Company, 9th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 12, 1918; Company M, 77th Infantry to death.
