Biography:

Marlin Elwood Miller was born Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania on May 2, 1924, to Myron James and Miriam Abigail Thomson Miller and became a resident of Minot, Ward County, North Dakota. He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on August 4, 1944, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.  Second Lieutenant Miller was killed in action on April 28, 1945, in the Pacific Area and he is buried in Grave G, Section 84, Site 398, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, Lemay Township, St. Louis County, Missouri.
