Registered Williams county. Born, Tomahawk, Wis., Nov. 18, 1894, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - unknown. Enlisted in the Navy at Minneapolis, Minn., on Dec. 14, 1917. Served at Denwoody Naval Institute, Minneapolis, Minn., to March 18, 1918; Naval Air Station, Rockaway Beach, to death. Grades: Landsman Machinist's Mate, Aviation, 77 days; Machinist's Mate 2nd Class, Aviation, 184 days; Machinist's Mate 1st Class, Aviation, 45 days.
