Registered Ward county. Born, Trondhjem, Norway, April 29, 1895. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Minot on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 13, 1918; Company G, 352nd Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Sept. 15, 1918. Overseas from Aug. 16, 1918, to death.
