Registered Walsh County. Born, Grafton, N. Dak., Jan. 21, 1899, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Northfield, Minn., on Oct. 16, 1918. Sent to Carleton College, Northfield, Minn. Served in Students Army Training Corps, to death.
