Biography:

Paul B Dyer was born on July 12, 1908, in Max, McLean County, North Dakota to Mack and Helga Dyer. He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on November 16, 1942. Private First Class Dyer was killed in action on February 23, 1945, in Merken, Kreis Duren, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany and is buried at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery and Memorial, Henri-Chapelle, Arrondissement de Verviers, Liege, Belgium, Plot D, Row 14, Grave 19. He received the Purple Heart.
