Biography:
Raymond Sidney Kreamer was born on December 19, 1917, to James Oliver and Helen Mary Christina Adeline "Lena" McEwan Kreamer in Cavalier, Pembina County, North Dakota. He joined the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on November 4, 1942, and served in the European African Middle Easter Theater. Private First Class Kreamer died in service on February 9, 1945, as a Prisoner of War in Germany at Camp: Stalag 11B Fallingbostel Prussia (Work Camps) 53-09 and is buried in Plot C, Row 8, Section 6, at Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial in Neuville-en-Condroz, Arrondissement de Liege, Liege, Belgium. He received the Purple Heart.
