Registered Burleigh county. Born, Belle Creek, Minn., Dec. 2, 1891, of Swedish parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bismarck on Feb. 20, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery D, 339th Field Artillery, to death.
