Circumstances:

Brother to Staff Sergeant Kenneth A. Klose who died earlier on March 22, 1943 aboard a B25-H Aircraft. The Aircraft was shot down while a mission to bomb U-boat yards in Wilhelmshaven Germany, in France.  He was buried at the American War Cemetery Margraten.

Killed in action near France.
