Circumstances:

Roger was in a UH-34D helicopter that collided in mid-air with another UH-34D and he died as a result of multiple injuries when the UH-34D
crashed and burned. 

Biography:

Roger was born in Dickinson and was raised in Fairfield. Lawrence served his country for 4 years. He was survived by his widow, Karen H Knudtson and his parents; Thomas H and Lucille J Knudtson, all of General Delivery, Fairfield, North Dakota. He is buried in Section 46 Site 518 in the Arlington National Cemetery - Arlington, VA.
