Registered Bottineau county. Born, Alma, Ill., July 18, 1891, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bottineau on June 23, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to June 26, 1918; Company D, 352nd Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 15, 1918, to death.
