Name included on the All Veterans Memorial at State Capitol in Bismarck ND.

Biography:

Registered Ward county. Born, Radcliffe, Iowa, Sept. 14, 1890, of American parents. Occupation - student. Enlisted in Company A, 2nd Infantry, North Dakota National Guard, at Minot, on July 22, 1917. Served in Company A, 2nd Infantry, North Dakota National Guard (Company D, 164th Infantry), to Jan. 9, 1918; Company B, 18th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Dec. 15, 1917, to death. Engagements: Defensive Sectors: Ansauville (Lorraine); Cantigny (Picardy).
