Biography:

Stanley Clifford White was born on December 14, 1918, to Harvey E. White and Hilma B. Nystrom White in East Grand Forks, Polk County, Minnesota and resided in Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, Minnesota. He entered the United States Army at Fort Russell, Texas on December 28, 1939, and served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. Technician Fifth Grade White died in service on May 2, 1945, in Vicenza, Italy and is buried in Block E, Row 9, Grave 10, Florence American Cemetery, Florence, Citta Metropolitana di Firenze, Toscana, Italy.
