Registered Ward county. Born, Hendricks, Minn., June 6, 1890, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Minot on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 10th Company, 3rd Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 27, 1918; Company D, 351st Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Sept. 1, 1918. Overseas from Aug. 15, 1918, to death.
