Biography:

William Davis Kristjanson enlisted in the United States Army and began his tour on May 12, 1969, with the rank of Sergeant. His military occupation or specialty was Infantryman attached to C Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division.

William Kristjanson was born on October 13, 1943, in Inkster, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.  Loss of life is February 26, 1970, and he is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River, North Dakota.

Sergeant Kristjanson received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, DC, name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 13w, Line 58.
