Biography:
Registered Malta, Mont. Born, Taneville, Mo., Oct. 13, 1894, of American parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Williston on Nov. 26, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company A, 352nd Infantry, to March 18, 1918; Headquarters Company, 352nd Infantry, to April 1, 1918; Company G, 328th Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, July 8, 1918. Overseas from May 1, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: Meuse-Argonne; St. Mihiel. Defensive Sectors: Lucey and Marbache (Lorraine).
