Biography:

William Robson was born in Sarles, Nelson County, North Dakota on April 29, 1925, to William S and Elsie Elizabeth Robson. He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 22, 1944, and served Asiatic Pacific Theater. Private First Class Robson was killed in action on June 26, 1945, in Okinawa, Japan and is buried in Lot 2, Block 54, Lakota City Cemetery, Lakota, Nelson County, North Dakota.
