Registered Kidder county. Born, Clayton, Iowa, Aug. 21, 1893, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Steele on Sept. 5, 1918. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill. Served in 161st Depot Brigade, to Sept. 24, 1918; 53rd Depot Brigade, to death.
