David Donald Berdahl

Biography:

Private First Class Berdahl enlisted in the Army on March 16, 1971, was a member of Troop D, 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. On January 20, 1972, he was the door gunner of a Bell Iroquois Utility Helicopter (UH-1H) on a recovery mission of a downed F-4 jet fighter. The aircraft was returning from its mission northwest of Khe San, Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam when it was hit by anti-aircraft fire, crashed and burned. His remains were not recovered. 

Carl Stephen Berger Jr

Biography:

Carl Stephen Berger, Jr. was drafted in the United States Army via the Selective Service on January 14, 1969, and began his tour on February 12, 1970, with the rank of Sergeant. His military occupation or specialty was Light Weapons Infantry. He was attached to the 5th Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 61st Infantry, C Company.

Carl Berger was born on August 23, 1948, to Carl and Lucy Berger, in Bismarck, Burleigh County, North Dakota, and he lived in Mandan, North Dakota.

Biography:

He is buried in Section E, Lot 1, Row 1 in Saint Pius Cemetery - Schefield, ND.

Biography:

He is memorialized on the Court of the Missing on the Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii. 

Richard John Boehm

Biography:

Richard John Boehm was drafted into the United States Army on October 20, 1969, and began his tour on June 18, 1970, and had a rank of Sergeant. His military occupation or specialty was Light Weapons Infantry, and he was attached to the 198th Light Infantry Brigade, 1st Battalion, 46th Infantry, C Company.

He is memorialized on the Courts of the Missing at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
