Erling E. Godejohn
Biography:
Earling E. Goodjohn, 42, chief petty officer stationed at the Quonset Point Naval Station in Rhode Island, and a resident of Millerton, died Sunday, June 25, in North Kingston, Rhode Island. Due to retire from the Navy in August, CPO Godejohn has been stationed at Quonset Point or the last two years. He was previously assigned in Florida. He was born in Bowbel, N.D., January 24, 1930, the son of Harold and Hazel Godejohn. He was a member of the American Legion Post 178 in Millerton. He married Pauline Elster of Ancramdale on December 15, 1956 in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
