Richard G Rikke was born on November 13, 1925, to Oscar and Vera Rikke in Manfred, Wells County, North Dakota. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota and had the rank of Technician Fifth Class, 4025th Signal Service Group. Rikke received the American Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He is buried at Manila American Cemetery, Fort Mckinley in Manila, Philippines, Plot A, Row 14, Grave 31.
