Clair Edward Mead

Biography:

Registered Barnes county. Born, Royal, Iowa, Aug. 2, 1892, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Valley City on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company K, 352nd Infantry, to April 4, 1918; Headquarters Company, 118th Infantry, to death. Grades: Cook, Oct. 10, 1917; Private 1st Class, Jan. 19, 1918. Overseas from May 11, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: Ypres-Lys; Somme. Defensive Sector: Canal (Flanders).

Randolph Lee Marthe

Biography:

Randolph Lee Marthe was drafted into the United States Army via the Selective Service on June 1, 1970, and began his tour on October 19, 1970, and had the rank of Private First Class. His military occupation or specialty was Field Artillery Basic, and he was attached to the Headquarters and Headquarters Battery (HHB), 1st Battalion, 92nd Artillery, 52nd Artillery Group, 1st Field Force.

Ronald Patrick McNeill

Biography:

Ronald, the son of Charles W. McNeill and Rose M. McNeill of Mott ND, the husband of Beverly E. McNeill and the father of Barry L. McNeill of Bismarck ND. 

He is buried in Section 3S, Lot 11, Grave 1 in Sunny Slope Cemetery - Mott, ND.
