Wilbur D. Thorne was born New Rockford, Eddy County, North Dakota on September 15, 1924, to Clara Thorne. He entered AUS Ft Snelling, Minnesota on May 26, 1943, and served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. Private Thorne died in service on March 14, 1946, in Germany, and is buried in Lake View Cemetery, Seattle, King County, Washington.

Philip E Thompson was born in Leonard, Cass County, North Dakota on January 20, 1913, to T O and Inger Thompson.  He entered The United States Army at Camp Roberts, California on January 13, 1942, and served European African Middle Eastern Theater. Captain Thompson died in service 14 June 14, 1945. in the European area. His burial place is unknown.
