VA recently launched the “Rx Refill” App! Veterans now have another option to easily use VA health care services on the go. With Rx Refill, Veterans can request VA-issued prescription refills, monitor the status of their request, track deliveries through VA Mail Order Pharmacies and view additional VA medication information available on My HealtheVet.
Rx Refill integrates into VA health care and complements current online prescription refill options My HealtheVet and Vets.gov. All other refill choices – online options, as well as by phone, mail and through kiosks at VA medical centers – are still available. No matter how Veterans refill their prescriptions, all their health care data will be in the VA pharmacy system. This will ensure that data and requests are safe, secure and consistent.
Rx Refill is accessible from any mobile device or tablet with an iOS operating system. Download the app from the VA App Store. To use the app, Veterans must be enrolled in VA health care and have ID.me, DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) or My HealtheVet Premium Account Credentials.
