Veterans Aid Loan now available for ND National Guard and Reserve members

Current members of the National Guard or Reserve can now apply for an unsecured personal loan of up to $5,000 from the ND Department of Veterans Affairs.  Former members with an other than dishonorable discharge are also qualified.

Previously only open to veterans who served on active duty or their surviving spouses, the Veterans Aid Loan provides a financial resource that can be used for most needs. If this low interest loan is paid off timely half the interest may be refunded.  Certain restrictions and qualifications apply.
