Herbert Lapp

Biography:

Herb was from Hebron. He was born February 1, 1923.

He was 43 years old when he died on July 3, 1966. 

He had seven brothers and eight sisters. Herb's sister, Betty, remembers him as someone with a great sense of humor, and that he was easy to get along with. 

Herb entered the Army as a young man and served in World War II prior to serving in Vietnam. Five of his brothers served their country in the military, and Herb's younger brother, Edwin, was killed in action in the Korean War. 

Allan James Korom

Biography:

LCpl Korom is buried in Rosehill Memorial Cemetery - Minot, ND.

Gregory Keith Krueger

Biography:

Gregory Keith Krueger was drafted into the United State Army via the Selective Service on January 16, 1969, and began his tour on December 21, 1969, with a rank of Sergeant. His military occupation or specialty was Infantry Operations and Intelligence Specialist, and he was attached to the 173rd Airborne Brigade, 17th Cavalry, E Company. 

Merlin James Laber

Biography:

Merlin was born in Carrington, September 5, 1947, to Leo and Marie (Huss) Laber. He graduated from Sykeston high school in 1965 and entered the army service in April, 1968. He went to Vietnam in August, 1968. He is buried in Saint Elizabeth Cemetery - Sykeston, ND.
 

Roger Douglas Knudtson

Biography:

Roger was born in Dickinson and was raised in Fairfield. Lawrence served his country for 4 years. He was survived by his widow, Karen H Knudtson and his parents; Thomas H and Lucille J Knudtson, all of General Delivery, Fairfield, North Dakota. He is buried in Section 46 Site 518 in the Arlington National Cemetery - Arlington, VA.
