George Frank Haider was born on September 21, 1892, in St. Anthony, Morton County, North Dakota to Frank Haider and Katharina Helfrich Haider.  (parents were born in Austria). Occupation - farmer. He was inducted at Mandan, Morton County, North Dakota on July 22, 1918. Entered the United States Army and was sent to Camp Custer, Michigan.
