Served in 116th Aero Squadron (637th Aero Supply Squadron), to death. Grades: Cook, Nov. 1, 1917; Private, April 2, 1918. Overseas from Dec. 10, 1917, to death.

Registered McKenzie county. Born, Watford City, N. Dak., Jan. 28, 1895, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Schafer on March 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 1st Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 20, 1918; Company C, 139th Infantry, to death. Overseas from May 3, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Gerardmer (Alsace); Grange-le-Comte (Lorraine).

Registered McKenzie county. Born, Kindred, D. T., May 14, 1889, of Norwegian-American parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Schafer on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 14th Company, 4th Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to death.
